Iran Condemns Israeli Operations in Gaza and West Bank, Urges International Action

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing military operations in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, accusing the Israeli government of escalating attacks against Palestinians and calling for urgent international action. In a statement issued on Wednesday, the ministry denounced an Israeli strike on a police facility in Jabalia, which it said killed a police commander and several officers, while also criticizing arrests, land confiscations, infrastructure destruction, and restrictions on humanitarian aid entering Gaza.
The ministry alleged that Israel has repeatedly violated the Gaza ceasefire, claiming the truce has been breached more than 3,600 times over the past nine months. It said the alleged violations have resulted in the deaths of more than 1,100 Palestinians, including women and children, and condemned the continued blockade of Gaza, which it said has prevented the entry of essential supplies and worsened the humanitarian situation.
Iran also accused the United States of being complicit in Israeli actions through its military, political, and diplomatic support for Israel, while urging the United Nations, its member states, and Islamic countries to take steps to halt the violence, end the occupation, and pursue accountability for alleged violations of international law. According to the Gaza Government Media Office, Israeli military operations since the ceasefire have killed 1,122 Palestinians and injured 3,599, figures that have not been independently verified.
