Pakistan, Iran FMs Discuss Regional Developments, Occupied East Jerusalem During Phone Call
Islamabad: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi on Tuesday, during which the two leaders discussed the evolving regional and international situation, with particular focus on the deteriorating conditions in Occupied East Jerusalem.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, the two foreign ministers exchanged views on key regional and global developments, reaffirming the importance of continued diplomatic engagement on issues affecting peace and stability in the Middle East.
During the conversation, Senator Ishaq Dar extended a formal invitation to Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience. The invitation reflects the close diplomatic ties between Islamabad and Tehran and their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
