TikToker Komal Jan Dies After Falling Into Soan River in Rawalpindi

A young Pakistani YouTuber vlogger, TikToker and a government employee Komal Jan who is known as passionate bike riding and making digital content, and used to share glimpses of her daily commute on social media.

Regrettably, a 28-year-old woman, Komal Jan, loss her life after falling into the Soan River near Defence Phase One in Rawalpindi, confirmed by police on Thursday.

As per police reports, they received an emergency call about a woman falling into the river near a bridge. A search operation was immediately launched, and after several hours, rescuers recovered the woman’s body. Police later identified her as Komal Jan.

Her motorcycle was found parked near the river. Her handbag, helmet and one mobile phone were also found with the bike.

According to sources, Komal Jan worked at the Election Commission of Pakistan and had a keen passion for heavy-bike riding.

According to police initial research, Komal fell into the river while making a TikTok video. Two mobile phones were recovered during the investigation. Official recovered one phone from her handbag, while the other was reportedly being used to record a video at the time of the incident.

Police are also interogate eyewitnesses to find out exactly how the case took place.

Police force investigation reports said that Komal was in contact with her family shortly before the incident. Her relatives have expressed no suspicion about anyone and consider her death accidental.

As per sources reports, her family told police that they chose not to pursue the case legally. Even so, police still constantly to look into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Komal’s body was sent for a post-mortem examination. After the procedure was completed, her family received the body and took it for burial.
