Iranian Army Chief Warns US: Any Attempt to Seize Strait of Hormuz Will Come at a Heavy Cost

Iranian Army Chief Major General Amir Hatami has warned the United States that any attempt to seize or establish control over the Strait of Hormuz would have serious consequences. According to Iran’s IRNA news agency, Hatami said Iran’s armed forces were fully prepared to confront any hostile plan and would take all necessary measures to defend the country’s sovereignty and national interests.
