Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz and Maryam Meet AJK PM, Speaker to Discuss Reforms

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Iftikhar Gilani and Speaker Tariq Farooq.

During the meeting, the AJK prime minister and speaker thanked the PML-N leadership for their support and confidence. Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz congratulated them and wished them success in their new responsibilities.

The PML-N leadership stressed the need to quickly address the problems faced by the people of Azad Kashmir. Nawaz Sharif shared a 100-day reform plan with the AJK prime minister, covering key areas such as healthcare, education, cleanliness, infrastructure and public services.

Nawaz Sharif also encouraged the AJK government to adopt modern and innovative approaches and follow Punjab’s development model where possible.

The leaders discussed ways to improve governance, speed up development projects and provide better facilities to the people of Azad Kashmir.
