Khamenei Urges Muslim Unity, Calls US and Israel ‘Sworn Enemies’
TEHRAN: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei has commended greater unity amid Muslims, saying more unity is desirable to protect the strength and interests of the Islamic world by describing the United States and Israel as “sworn enemies” of Muslim solidarity.
In a message delivered for the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Islamic Unity Week, Khamenei entitled on Muslim nations to form on their common ethics and strengthen cooperation. He emphasized unity as a core Islamic teaching and advised Muslims to support one another in dealing with challenges.
Khamenei blamed the US and Israel were in quest of to excavate dissections within the Muslim world. And he enquired the leaders of Islamic nations, mainly in West Asia and the Persian Gulf, to recognize common encounters and recover support.
He also underlined the condition of Palestinians, saying better unity between Muslim countries could help them recovered react to regional struggles and wrongs.
He said Muslim cooperation should extend beyond politics and security to areas such as science, economic development and social progress. As per Khamenei statment, stronger unity and collaboration could help the Islamic world move toward what he called a “New Islamic Civilization.”
He also urged the Iranian people to avoid internal divisions and maintain national unity
