Viral Karachi Fight Video Raises Questions Over Police Presence
KARACHI: A video of Noor-ul-Ain, a woman injured during a fight between two women in Karachi’s Defence area, has surfaced online, showing her visibly hurt and shaken after the incident.
In the video, Noor-ul-Ain says she suffered injuries to her nose, mouth and eye and claims that her hair was also pulled during the altercation.
Another video recorded at the scene shows police personnel taking a man away from the location. An official-looking Vigo can also be seen parked outside the flat on Khayaban-e-Bukhari.

The footage has raised questions about the police presence at the location, including who called the officers and who the official vehicle belonged to. Police officials have not yet provided a clear explanation regarding these details.
The incident reportedly took place nine days ago at a flat in Defence, where two women were involved in a physical altercation. Earlier footage from the incident also showed police personnel at the scene. A case has been registered at Darakhshan police station.
Meanwhile, SSP Korangi Fida Hussain Janwari has rejected social media claims linking him to the viral video. He clarified that the woman shown in the footage is neither his wife nor his sister.
Janwari said a girl around his daughter’s age had been wrongly identified as his wife in a social media post. He alleged that the video was being linked to him as part of an attempt to damage his reputation.
The SSP said he would take legal action against those spreading the video in his name and had also approached the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) regarding the matter.
