Gold Price Falls by Rs3,800 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold Prices Rise Slightly in Pakistan as Global Market Trends Push Rates Higher
KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan declined sharply on Monday in line with a fall in international bullion rates.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold fell by Rs3,800 per tola, bringing the local rate down to Rs453,336 per tola.
The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs3,258, reaching Rs388,662.
International Gold Prices Decline
In the international market, gold prices dropped by $38 per ounce to $4,308 per ounce.
The decline in global bullion prices was reflected in the domestic market, leading to the latest reduction in gold rates across Pakistan.
On Saturday, the price of gold had increased by Rs400 per tola to reach Rs457,136.
Silver Prices Also Fall
Silver prices also recorded a decline in the local market.
According to APGJSA rates, silver fell by Rs122 per tola, taking its price to Rs6,802 per tola.
The latest movement in precious metal prices comes amid fluctuations in international bullion markets, which continue to influence gold and silver rates in Pakistan.
