Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Meets POWERUS Delegation at GHQ

A delegation from POWERUS, a US-based company specializing in defense and critical infrastructure solutions, led by Robert Bret Velicovich, met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on September 16, 2026, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, emerging trends in defense technology and potential cooperation in defense procurement, production and capacity building. The discussions also covered opportunities to expand engagement in areas of shared interest.

Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized the importance of technological innovation and advanced solutions in strengthening national security and resilience. Both sides expressed interest in further developing cooperation in mutually beneficial areas.
