Mushtaq Khan Death: Welcome and Gadar Actor Dies at 56

Bollywood actor Mushtaq Khan has died at the age of 56 in Mumbai, he was knocwn for his roles in films such as Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Jodi No. 1 and Welcome. People love to see him as in supporting and comic roles in so many Indian film and television for several decades.

Khan had been battling cancer, as per reports, the disease has returned recently and his health later became serious. His business partner Shivam confirmed the actor’s death on Thursday evening after he was taken to a Mumbai hospital for treatment.

In Hindi cinema’s Mushtaq Khan was a familiar face and his one of the most popular performance came in Anees Bazmee’s Welcome, released in 2007 played as Ballu character and shared the screen with star such as Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Paresh Rawal.

Alongside his popular appearance in ‘Welcome’, the actor worked in many other films as well, like Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Jodi No. 1, Gadar 2 and Stree 2. Not only cinema, he also appeared on television during his career.

Mushtaq Khan was born in Baihar town of Madhya Pradesh’s Balaghat district. He went on to build a long career as an actor and comedian and became a familiar face for Hindi film audiences.
