Faryal Talpur Chairs Interior Committee Meeting, Reviews Development in Katcha Areas

A meeting of the Standing Committee on Interior, chaired by its Chairperson Faryal Talpur, reviewed development projects, social and economic improvement initiatives, and other measures. The meeting also discussed issues facing the Katcha areas and efforts to provide basic facilities to local communities.

Faryal Talpur said practical measures were being taken to address the problems of the Katcha areas and ensure the provision of basic facilities to the people. She said longstanding public grievances would be addressed and development initiatives in the Katcha areas would continue, while efforts would also be accelerated to promote social and economic development.

Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar said resolving public issues was among the provincial government’s priorities. He stressed that necessary measures must be ensured to make the development process in the Katcha areas more effective and improve conditions for local residents.
