Resistance Groups Claim Fresh Attacks Against Taliban in Afghanistan

Resistance groups opposing the Taliban regime have claimed a series of attacks in different parts of Afghanistan.

According to the Afghanistan United Front, Taliban official Abdul Rahman Kotargi, an official of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, was killed in a targeted operation in Khakrez district of Kandahar.

The group alleged that the official was involved in violence against civilians, illegal arrests, false accusations and physical abuse.

Meanwhile, the National Mobilization Front claimed that the head of intelligence at Nangarhar prison was killed in an anti-Taliban operation in Jalalabad.

The National Mobilization Front said guerrilla operations would continue until the Taliban, Islamic State and Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are completely eliminated.
