Nana Patekar’s Funeral Held at Pune Farmhouse with State Honours

Nana Patekar, the veteran Bollywood actor, received full state honours during his last rites at his Pune farmhouse in Maharashtra.

As per Indian media reports, the body of the 75-year-old actor was brought from Goa to Pune. In accordance with his wishes, his last rites were held at his farmhouse in Dunje village.

During the ceremony, Nana Patekar’s body was wrapped in the Indian national flag, and an official salute was presented with three rounds of gunfire. His son, Malhar Patekar, then lit the funeral pyre.

Several film personalities, political leaders, family members and thousands of fans attended the ceremony to pay their final respects to the veteran actor.

It is worth mentioning that Nana Patekar died at his residence in Goa on October 8.
