The White Lotus Season 4 Filming Nears End in Cannes

HBO’s hit series The White Lotus is bringing its signature blend of luxury and mystery to the French Riviera, as filming for Season 4 approaches its final stages in Cannes.

The production has transformed the famous Hôtel Martinez into the fictional White Lotus Cannes resort, adding custom decorations, branded props and a redesigned hotel logo to create the setting for the upcoming season.

Created by Mike White, the popular anthology series began filming its fourth season in the French Riviera around six months ago. The production has also returned to Cannes after previously shooting scenes during the city’s renowned film festival.

Hôtel Martinez Transforms Into White Lotus Resort

Located on Cannes’ famous Promenade de la Croisette, the Hôtel Martinez has undergone a noticeable makeover for the HBO series.

The hotel lobby now features specially designed decorations, including golden palm trees, a replica reception desk, a fake elevator, a circular sofa and two blue armchairs placed beneath a painting of a man.

Several branded props, including caps, towels, bags and scarves featuring The White Lotus name, have also appeared throughout the property.

Signs around the filming areas warn visitors not to touch or move the set pieces as the production team prepares the hotel for scenes in the new season.

The transformation also includes the fictional resort’s branding, with its logo displayed on furniture, windows, carpets and other decorative elements.

Season 4 Introduces a New Resort Logo

One of the standout features of the new season is a redesigned The White Lotus logo inspired by the Art Deco style associated with the Hôtel Martinez. The updated branding adds to the hotel’s transformation into the fictional luxury resort.

Two Luxury Hotels Feature in Season 4

The Hôtel Martinez is not the only high-end property featured in the upcoming season. Airelles Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez will also appear as the fictional White Lotus du Cap, while the Cannes hotel will serve as the White Lotus Cannes.

The two locations will provide the luxurious settings for the latest chapter of the anthology series.

Season 4 Joined by Star-Studded Cast

Season 4 features an ensemble cast led by Laura Dern, Steve Coogan, Vincent Cassel, Ben Kingsley, Chris Messina and Kumail Nanjiani.

Other cast members include Alexander Ludwig, Max Greenfield, Ari Graynor, AJ Michalka, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila, Marissa Long, Caleb Jonte Edwards and Nadia Tereszkiewicz.

Mike White returns as the season’s writer and director. David Bernad and Mark Kamine are also serving as executive producers alongside White.

When Will The White Lotus Season 4 Premiere?

Although filming is nearing completion, HBO has yet to announce an exact premiere date for Season 4. The new installment is expected to arrive in 2027, with further details about its release yet to be confirmed.
