Four Palestinians Martyred in Gaza as Israeli Attacks Continue Despite Ceasefire

At least four Palestinians were killed and nine others injured in Israeli military attacks in the Gaza Strip over a 24-hour period, according to reports from Arab media, amid continuing reports of ceasefire violations.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 1,505 Palestinians had been killed and 5,332 injured in attacks since the ceasefire began. The supplied reports also put the overall Palestinian death toll from the war at 74,396.

Separately, Palestinian health authorities reported that two people were killed in an Israeli strike in Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

The figures reflect the severe toll of the conflict on Palestinians and the continuing challenges facing the territory’s health services. The casualty totals and reporting periods should be distinguished, as the figures refer to different timeframes and may be updated as further information becomes available.

The United Nations has also raised concerns about the safety of humanitarian workers and facilities in Gaza. UN Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq said Israeli gunfire had affected aid facilities on Wednesday, according to the supplied report.

The safety of humanitarian personnel is critical to delivering food, medical supplies and other essential assistance to civilians affected by the conflict. Damage to aid facilities and continuing insecurity can further complicate relief operations in an area already facing extensive humanitarian needs.

The reported casualties underscore the fragility of the ceasefire and the continued risks faced by Gaza’s civilian population. Independent verification of the individual incidents was not included in the supplied material.

Continued protection of civilians, humanitarian workers and aid infrastructure remains central to efforts to reduce suffering and prevent further deterioration of conditions in Gaza.
