Salman Khan Replaced by Rohit Shetty on Bigg Boss 20: Here’s Why

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty will host the upcoming ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode of Bigg Boss 20 instead of Salman Khan. Salman announced the change to the contestants during the episode aired on October 18.

According to Indian media reports, Salman Khan will miss the episode due to prior professional commitments. His absence comes at a time when concerns about his security have also made headlines following a shooting incident involving actor Tiger Shroff’s car.

Following the incident, a message allegedly claiming responsibility for the attack surfaced on social media. The message reportedly threatened several people in the Mumbai film industry, particularly those who work with Salman Khan.

In the alleged post, a person named Anil Pandit claimed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and said that he and Harman Sindhu were involved in the incident. The message claimed that Tiger Shroff had been contacted and warned earlier but was targeted because he did not listen. It also warned that others working with Salman Khan could face similar consequences.

It is important to note that, the allegations remain unverified and should not be treated as proven facts.

Apart from directing hit films such as Singham, Simmba and Chennai Express, Rohit Shetty has also hosted the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi for several seasons.

He will now appear as the host of the upcoming ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode of Bigg Boss 20 in Salman Khan’s place.
