Jenna Ortega Stuns Fans With Sculptural Dress at New York Event

Jenna Ortega stood out with her bold fashion choice at the New York City event screening of Klara & the Sun.

Wearing an eye-catching handmade outfit assembled from steel rods, Ortega show up the screening at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City on Monday, October 19.

She was appeared by her co-star Amy Adams and director Taika Waititi at the screening, bringing together some of the key names behind the upcoming film.

Ortega’s strange get-up was designed by Elias Matso and presented a sculptural look shaped wholly from steel rods. The one-of-a-kind design stood out for its creative creation and exceptional style.

Speaking to People about the dress, Ortega praised the designer and acknowledged the effort that went into making the piece.

“He is incredible,” the actress said, highlighting the work behind the handmade creation.

She also told that Matso had been keeping the dress for her. Its linking to the film made it a mostly expressive choice for the screening.

What to Know About ‘Klara & the Sun’

Klara & the Sun follows Klara, a  Fake Friend played by Ortega, who expectations to find a home where she belongs. The film directed by Taika Waititi.

Her journey changes when she meets Josie, portrayed by Mia Tharia. The two develop a close bond, with Klara’s innocence and loyalty helping Josie deal with the challenges in her life.

Josie’s mother role played Amy Adams, whereas Aran Murphy, Steve Buscemi and Natasha Lyonne will be seeing in a supporting cast.

The film is planned to drop in theatres on October 23, giving viewers a chance to see Ortega take on the role of Klara in the upcoming adaptation.
