LHC annuls death sentence to Pervez Musharraf as illegal. Lahore High Court also declared constituting of a special court which heard the treason case against former President Pervez Musharraf as unconstitutional.
The court heard Pervez Musharraf’s petition in Lahore today. Finally, it announced a unanimous verdict.

It also ruled that the treason case against the former President was not prepared in accordance with the law.
The three-member bench comprised Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti and Justice Chaudhry Masood Jahangir.
Furthermore, LHC declared constituting of a special court which heard the treason case as unconstitutional.
