Coronavirus confirmed cases in Pakistan rise to 2450 with detection of 66 new coronavirus cases.

Official sources said the authorities concerned have detected 66 new cases during last twenty-four hours across the country.

Due to that, the total number of confirmed cases rose to 2450.
According to latest official data, thirty-five people have died of the disease since its outbreak.
However, 126 patients have recovered while ten patients are in critical condition.
In Punjab, the total number of coronavirus cases is 920, in Sindh 783, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 311, Balochistan 169, Islamabad 68, Gilgit-Baltistan 190 and in Azad Kashmir nine.
 
Meanwhile, civil and military leadership of Pakistan remain determined and resolute to protect the people from coronavirus.
Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said this in a tweet
She further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit National Command and Operation Center in Islamabad today.
He will review the steps which the autbhorities are taking to prevent spread of the pandemic.
The Special Assistant said Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa will also accompany the Prime Minister.
Moreover, she said everyone should make efforts like a nation to face the COVID-19 challenge.
