Under provincial government’s policy, people cannot go to shrines.
The three to five members of the staff of mosques may enter into concerned mosques.
However, congregations of all sorts stand impressible.
Similarly, same restrictions will remain enforced for Easter congregations.
It makes Station House Officer (SHO) responsible to ensure implementation of the order; otherwise SHO will be held accountable for violation.
Shab e Barat tonight
GTV earlier reported that people will spend the night at homes due to the situation arising out of coronavirus.
However, they will offer prayers and seek blessings of God Almighty while staying at homes.
The night between 14th and 15th Shaaban is called Shab-e-Barat.
Muslims call this sacred night of blessings and forgiveness due to Islamic teahings and traditions.
They offer special prayers during the whole night.
Traditionally, Muslims gather at mosques to offer recommended prayers but Covid-19 related precautionary measures also affected Islamic rituals.
The religious scholars have appealed to the masses to make diligent and whole-hearted supplications before the Almighty Allah on the blessed night for warding off the deadly pandemic of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, government has also imposed restrictions on visits to graveyards.
Muslims of the subcontinent have a tradition to visit graveyards on Shab-e-Barat.
They recite Quranic verses at graves of their relatives and pray to rest departed soul in eternal peace.
Earlier, Pakistan government has confirmed 58 deaths due to Coronavirus while total rises to 4072 cases.
According to official sources, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country have reached to 4,072.
These include 2,030 cases in Punjab, 986 in Sindh and 527 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 527.

Moreover, Balochistan confirmed cases rose to 206, Gilgit-Baltistan 212, Islamabad Capital Territory 92 and Azad Kashmir 19.
According to National Command and Operation Centre this morning (8:10am), 208 new coronavirus cases detected during the last 24 hours.
Fifty-eight people have died of coronavirus since its outbreak in Pakistan.
As per province-wise details, 18 deaths reported in Sindh, 16 in Punjab, 18 in KP while 2 in Balochistan.
Three people died in in Gilgit-Baltistan and one in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
