The Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has written a letter to Speaker of Turkish Grand National Assembly.
He felicitated him on the completion of one hundred years of the Turkish Assembly.

He said that the Grand National Assembly of Turkey has always played an important role in promotion of democratic values.
The Chairman said Pakistan values its relations with Turkey and desires to further expand it in the sphere of parliamentary and people to people contacts.
Sadiq Sanjrani said peace, prosperity and development is the joint agenda of both the countries.
The Chairman Senate also wrote a letter to the head of Senate of Czech Republic, expressing grief and sorrow over the loss of lives there due to coronavirus.
On behalf of Pakistan, Sadiq Sanjrani offered every possible assistance to the Czech Republic.
The Chairman Senate said that coronavirus is an unprecedented global challenge which has affected every person.
He said this challenge has provided a unique opportunity to the comity of nations to get united. He was confident that the collective efforts will help overcome this problem.
Meanwhile, Senate chairman also joined Salat ul Tauba at the Aiwan-e-Sadr today.Â
President Dr Arif Alvi, he and some others offered Salat ul Tauba to seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty to save the mankind from the pandemic of Coronavirus.
The President prayed to the Creator of world to have His blessings and kindness on the people across the globe who faced the catastrophe to their lives and health.
The Council of Islamic Ideology had appealed to the nation to offer two rakats of Salat ul Tauba as a repentance before Allah Almighty to seek His forgiveness.
