Senior doctor died of Coronavirus in Pakistan where death toll rises to 253.

According to National Command and Operation Center, total number of coronavirus infection cases reached 11,940.

According to the Hayatabad Medical Complex administration, Professor of ENT Dr Javed died due to COVID-19.

The senior doctor had remained under treatment at Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar.

Earlier, he was diagnosed with coronavirus

Meanwhile, government gave province wise details of 253 deaths.

89 people died of Coronavirus in Khyebr Pakhtunkhwa.

Moreover, 75 people died of COVID-19 in Sindh and 73 in Punjab while 10 in  Balochistan.

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) confirmed 3 deaths so far.

Gilgit Baltistan also reported total three deaths so far.

Condition of 127 patients remain critical.

However, 2,755 patients of Coronavirus have been recovered so far.

These include Punjab 5046, Sindh, 3945, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 1708, Balochistan 656, Islamabad Capital Territory 223, Gilgit-Baltistan 307, and Azad Kashmir 55 cases.

138,147 tests have been conducted since outbreak of the pandemic.

Local transmission is 79 percent and foreign travel 21 percent.

The government has made ready 717 hospitals with Covid facilities with 3037 patients admitted across the country.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan will preside over fourth meeting of the provincial Information Ministers.

Notably they would strengthen cooperation while discussing measures regarding current situation.
