Governor says 30 telemedicine centers providing health services to masses in Punjab province.
Punjab governor Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar said this while talking to newsmen in Multan on Saturday.
Governor says 30 telemedicine centers
He said thirty telemedicine centers are providing health services to masses in the province.
Ch Sarwar said ten thousand doctors are providing health services to people on these telemedicine centers.
He said sanitizers and other protection material are being prepared locally in the country.
The Governor said three thousand PPE kits have been allocated for doctors of Multan division.
Earlier, the Governor distributed protection kits among the doctors of southern Punjab.
Iftar parties at government expenses banned
Meanwhile, Punjab CM banned Iftar parties on government expenditure and issued a notification in this regard.
He said ban will be applicable on all provincial ministers, secretaries and other officials.
Punjab Chief Minister said government have to save each penny amid the coronavirus outbreak and have to spend resources while keeping the economic situation in view.
Earlier, President and PM congratulated nation on holy month of Ramazan.
President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have issued messages in this regard.
They congratulated the entire nation on the advent of holy month of Ramazan.
President said the blessed month of Ramazan teaches Muslims to remain aware of the difficulties and sufferings faced by destitute and downtrodden segment of society.
He cited entire world perplexed over the devastation which COVID-10 carried out.
He also noted world taking measures to overcome this challenge on emergency-footings.
Dr Arif Alvi urged the nation to adopt precautionary measures, maintain proper social distancing along with pursuing values of love, sacrifice, and piousness.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan said entire humanity around the globe is facing devastating impacts of Coronavirus.
PM said all major global powers seem to be toothless before this pandemic.
He urged the nation to take special care of poor needy people in these testing times by exercising complete unity and sacrifice.
Khan prayed to Allah Almighty to steer the humanity out of prevailing Coronavirus pandemic.
Prime Minister prayed God also help Pakistan in emerging victorious in common fight against Covid-19.
Meanwhile, in a Tweet, Prime Minister Imran Khan extended Ramazan felicitations to the Muslims across the world.
