President Alvi visits mosques in Bara Kahu Islamabad where he called for acting upon precautionary measures regarding Coronavirus.

President Dr. Arif Alvi urged people to effectively pursue precautionary measures to prevent coronavirus spread.

During his visit to various mosques in Bara Kahu on Sunday night, he reviewed the precautionary measures .

He reviewed whether mosques administration are observing precautionary measures during prayers and Namaz-e-Taraweeh in Ramazan.

He visited Masjid Anwar-e-Madina Ahmed town, Jamia masjid Ghousia Simly Dam road, Begum Masjid Bara Kahu and Jamia Masjid Shama -e -Risalat.

On the occasion, the president again directed the mosques administrations to ensure implementation of preventive measures.

Notably he cited guidelines contained in 20-point guidelines necessary to control spread of Covid-19.

Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on CDA Affairs Ali Nawaz Awan also accompanied him.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms and Special Initiatives Asad Umar on Sunday sought feedback from the provinces on the compliance of Ramazan guidelines by the public.

He chaired the second meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre ( NCOC) during the holy Month of Ramazan.

They undertook a comprehensive review of the implementation of Ramazan guideline.

Meanwhile, they also reveiewed Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) package, health situation and data integration, an NCOC press release said.
