Coronavirus spread rate dropped to 8.15pc from 12pc in Sindh, according to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

In his video message in Karachi, Shah noted coronavirus spread rate have dropped to 8.15 percent from 11 or 12 percent in the province.

He called it a good omen. He said total 4112 tests were conducted during last twenty-four hours of which 335 persons were tested positive bringing the total number of corona patients in the province to 5291 till now.

Murad Shah said that 37 seven corona patients were recovered in twenty-four hours and discharged for their homes, with this the number of total recovered patients in the province have increased to 963.

He said that seven corona patients lost their lives in last twenty-four hours in the province bringing the total number of deaths to 92 in the province due to the virus.

Giving break-up of the newly reported corona cases in the province, he said that maximum 258 new cases were reported in Karachi in last twenty-four hours.

Coronavirus has killed 26 more people during last 24 hours across Pakistan.

It raised the death toll to 327 in Pakistan.

According to National Command and Operation Center, 3425 patients have so far recovered.

Notably, the death toll from the virus stands at 327.

Earlier on Tuesday, NCOC had reported death toll stood at 301.

Meanwhile, it reported Wednesday that confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan soared to 14,885
