National Coordination Committee on Covid19 will decide June strategy on Monday.

 

Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar said, while chairing a meeting at National Command and Control Centre (NCOC).

Asad Umar said that a special meeting of National Coordination Committee (NCC) on Coronavirus will finalize the strategy regarding coronavirus for the month of June on Monday.

Meanwhile, he stressed the need for devising a mechanism of providing latest information about availability of beds and ventilators in the hospitals to facilitate COVID-19 patients.

He said that such information would facilitate the infected people to get admission in hospitals as per their own preference.

Authorities concerned apprised the meeting of availability of sufficient beds and ventilators in hospitals across the country for accommodating COVID-19 patients.

However, they informed most of the infected people prefer isolation at homes.

The forum also reviewed the progress on the implementation status of COVID-19 guidelines.

Meanwhile, over 22300 Coronavirus patients have so far recovered while more than 64 thousand suffered from the Covid19.

During last 24 hours, 2636 new coronavirus cases have surfaced in the country.

The authorities concerned conducted 11931 corona tests during the last twenty-four hours.

But 57 more people died of Coronavirus during last 24 hours.
