Coronavirus infects PPP Senator Moula Bux Chandio and family who have tested positive for the Covid19.

Senator Moula Bux Chandio and his family have isolated themselves at home.

Coronavirus infects PPP Senator Moula Bux Chandio

Chandio is currently serving his Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) as central spokesman. He had served Pakistan as federal minister during PPP’s last government.

First, the wife of the Central Secretary Information of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had undergone corona test five days ago, after her health deteriorated.

Upon her positive test report, PPP’s senator and his two sons, two daughters-in-law and others at their house also underwent test.

Test reports of Senator Moula Bux Chandio, a daughter-in-law and an employee came back positive.

Therefore, they began self-isolation/quarantine at home.

Meanwhile, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani called Senator Moula Bux Chandio.

He inquired about his health and prayed for his and his family’s speedy recovery.

Earlier, Covid19 claimed 78 more lives during last 24 hours raising death toll to 1621. 

However, 27,110 patients have so far recovered from the virus.

As per official figures, the death toll now stands at 1,621.

As many as 78 deaths reported during the last twenty-four hours.

Meanwhile, confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan soared to 76,398

The emergence of 3,938 new infections over the last twenty-four hours has taken the nationwide tally of coronavirus to 76,398.

27,850 cases detected in Punjab so far, 29,647 in Sindh, 10,485 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4,514 in Balochistan, 2,893 in Islamabad, 738 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 271 in Azad Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill has urged the opposition parties to take unified stance to successfully fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
