Over 31000 Coronavirus patients have recovered in Pakistan so far.

According to official figures, 4896 new Coronavirus cases have surfaced in the country during the last twenty four hours.

It took the tally to 89,249.

However, government sources said 31,198 patients have so far recovered from the disease.

Meanwhile, total province-wise latest figures of confirmed Covid19 cases had it:

As many as 33144 total cases detected so far in Punjab, 33536 in Sindh and 11,890 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Moreover, 5582 cases detected in Balochistan, 3946 in Islamabad, 852 in Gilgit Baltistan and 299 in Azad Kashmir.

The death toll from the virus stands at 1838.

Earlier, 68 deaths reported over the last twenty four hours.

22,812 corona tests carried out during this period.

Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government vowed to to provide better healthcare to corona patients.

Adviser to the KP Chief Minister on Information Ajmal Wazir, reiterated this commitment.

While briefing the media in Peshawar on Friday, he noted no shortage of beds and ventilators in the hospitals.

Ajmal Wazir said the doctors and paramedics staff are performing their duties round the clock for provision of better health facilities to corona patients.

He said all the district’s administrations have been directed to take strict action against the violators of SOPs and hoarders of petrol.

The adviser lauded the role of media for creating awareness among the masses regarding corona pandemic.
