In a series of tweets on Wednesday, she said a large number of deserving individuals in Sindh got benefits from this apolitical decision.

She said government had increased the number of individuals to be supported under Ehsaas Program from 12 million to 16.16 million.

The Special Assistant said that in category II and III of Ehsaas Emergency Cash, provincial quotas are population based.

She said that in categories IV and V, funded by PM’s COVID fund, all eligible applicants are being supported on PM’s directions.

Dr Sania said a large number of deserving individuals in Sindh got benefits from this apolitical decision.

She said that to check status of applications web portal and report will be released next week.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar chaired a joint meeting in Lahore.

There, Punjab Government has decided to devise a strategy to take maximum benefit from the services of Tiger Force.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Government has decided to extend the ongoing smart lockdown.

The provincial govt made this announcement in a notification issued in Quetta.

Balochistan extended it for further fifteen days till 30th June 2020.
