Over 95400 Covid19 patients have so far recovered from the disease across Pakistan.

However, 3557 new coronavirus cases have surfaced in the country over the last twenty-four hours.

It increased the total tally to 206,512.

According to authorities concerned, over 95,407 patients have so far recovered from the disease.

These include 74778 in Punjab, 80446 in Sindh, 25778 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10376 in Balochistan, 12643 in Islamabad, 1442 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1049 in Azad Kashmir.

The death toll from the virus stands at 4167.

Among them 49 deaths reported over the last twenty-four hours.

Meanwhile, 23,009 corona tests carried out during this period.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Dr. Sania Nishtar said the government has successfully completed the target of disbursement of Ehsaas Emergency Cash among 12 million beneficiaries.

In a tweet, she said the government has set a new target of over 16 million beneficiaries.

The govt has done so in view of the success of Ehsaas Emergency Cash programme and people’s needs.

She said so far, over 145 billion rupees have been distributed among more than 12 million labourers.

On the other hand, the number of coronavirus infection cases across the world has risen to over ten million.

Moreover, the pandemic has so far claimed more than 500,000 lives.

Over five point five million patients have recovered from the disease.

The United States tops with about two point six million infection cases and more than 128,000 deaths.

In Brazil, number of infections have risen to over one point three million with over 57,000 deaths.
