The two countries will sign an agreement on Monday for construction of Azad Pattan Hydel Power Project.
CPEC Authority head said Prime Minister Imran Khan will grace the occasion.
He said this project, another milestone under the CPEC, envisages an investment of 1.5 billion dollars.
Furthermore, he said we move towards cheaper and greener power.
Earlier, the SAPM Bajwa reaffirmed govt resolve to complete all projects in Gwadar.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa reaffirmed the government resolve to complete all projects in Gwadar in line with directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In a tweet on Saturday, he shared some pictures of under construction Gwadar International airport.
Asim Bajwa also heads China Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority. He said construction work on Gwadar International Airport was in progress.
He said: “We reaffirm our commitment to launching and completing all projects in Gwadar in line with PM’s directive.”
Moreover, he said after completion the mega Airport costing $230M would emerge as a harbinger of development of Gwadar City and Gwadar Port.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Ambassador to China Naghmana Hashmi said that Pakistan and China have deepened their all-weather cooperation in recent years.
She said both have expanded bilateral ties in diverse fields of cooperation for mutual benefit.
