CPEC Authority launches internship programme to develop young leaders with maximum productivity.

Chairman CPEC Authority Lt. Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa said in his tweet on Saturday.

CPEC Authority launches internship programme

The China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority has launched this inclusive and national project that will prove as engine of growth for the country.

He informed that human and social development was the government’s priority focus.

“With 60 percent youth population, a tremendous opportunity exists to empower youth.”

He urged the youth to join this specific three months long internship.

The Authority will select 100 people with maximum age of 30 years in first internship programme that will start in October 2020.

Earlier, the committee on China Pakistan Economic Corridor expressed its satisfaction over the progress of CPEC projects.

Minister for Planning, Asad Umar presided the meeting and reviewed the progress of CPEC.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa briefed the committee.

He briefed them on the progress of various CPEC projects being executed across the country.

Asim Bajwa said the officials from the relevant ministries reaffirmed their full commitment to accelerate work on CPEC projects.

In a series of tweets, Asad Umar said the cabinet’s committee reviewed progress of CPEC projects during the financial year 2019-20.
