Prime Minister Imran Khan presides over meeting in Karachi where he arrived today.
Federal Ministers Asad Umar, Shibli Faraz, Syed Ali Zaidi, Amin-ul-Haq, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and others are attending the meeting.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan has arrived in Karachi on a day long visit.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz and MNA Amir Mahmood Kayani accompanied him.
The Prime Minister will make important announcements under Karachi Transformation Plan during a media briefing.
Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz lauded Prime Minister Imran Khan’s commitment to restore the real identity of Karachi as an industrial city.
Later in a tweet on Saturday, he underlined Karachi as the backbone of the economy of the country.
He also mentioned problems of Karachi as “our problems.”
The Minister said we cannot leave the people of Karachi at the mercy of Sindh government.
He alleged that the PPP’s Sindh government has destroyed the infrastructure of city during their 12-year long rule.
He is accompanied by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz and MNA Amir Mahmood Kayani.
During the visit, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, members of the provincial assembly and businessmen will call on the Prime Minister.
A briefing about the situation prevailing in Karachi is also part of engagements.

On Thursday, he said this, while chairing a high level meeting on Karachi Transformation Plan.

He said the he formation of an empowered and effective mechanism was a must for the success of Karachi Transformation Plan by executing the development projects within the stipulated time.
He further said the root cause of Karachi’s problems was the disintegration of administrative powers that was also pointed out by the federal and provincial governments.
