5th session of Pakistan Germany Strategic Dialogue held via video conference.
Foreign Secretary Suhail Mahmood while represented Pakistan. He invited German companies to invest in different sectors, including Agriculture, Information Technologies, Tourism and Renewable Energy.

He extended this invitation during the 5th session of Pakistan-Germany Strategic Dialogue via video conference.
The Foreign Secretary briefed on the economic development and investment opportunities in Pakistan.
It included the improved business climate and Ease of Doing Business.
The two sides took stock of the whole range of bilateral relations, including political, economic, trade, investment, education and cultural fields.
They also exchanged views on cooperation at international fora and agreed to continue close contact and mutual support on all issues of convergent interest.
Meanwhile, adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said that no country can progress without trade and investment with other countries, said
He reiterated the government’s determination to provide conducive environment to investors in the country.
Adviser said, while speaking at Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi on Monday morning.
He said government was providing subsidy to 90 percent consumers of gas and at utility stores to provide relief to general public.
Sheikh asked the business community to find new markets for their products.
He also urged them to utilize new instruments for the promotion of businesses.
The adviser said the business community should contact him in case the sales tax refund is not paid within 72 hours.
