Prime Minister Imran Khan to address the UN General Assembly today.

He will virtually address the UN General Assembly (UNGA) session on Friday.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said this, during his weekly briefing in Islamabad.

He further said the Prime Minister, in his address, will share Pakistan’s perspective on various regional and international issues.

He said the Prime Minister will once again raise the issue of Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

In his wide-ranging address, the Prime Minister will also share Pakistan’s successful handling of COVID-19, his debt relief initiative for developing countries and Islamophobia.

Responding a question, the Spokesperson said the Indian Government has still not shared the requisite information regarding the death of 11 Pakistani Hindus in Jodhpur, India and again called upon New Delhi to carry out transparent probe into the matter immediately and share finding with Pakistan.

On the other hand, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider welcomed the visit of the Ambassadors, and diplomatic staff of various countries to the Line of Control.

He also addressed a public gathering at Helmat near LoC in Neelum valley.

Furthermore, he said Indian troops are continuously violating cease fire agreement and targeting civilian population.

Raja Farooq Haider asked the United Nation to take a serious notice of Indian escalation at LoC.

He asked UN  to implement its resolutions for settling the long standing Kashmir issue between Pakistan and India.
