Pakistan to raise Indian atrocities in IOJK at UN Human Rights Council.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi announced, while talking to the media persons in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

He said the country would raise the Indian oppression and atrocities in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir at the forum of UN Human Rights Council.
In this regard, he said, Pakistan’s re-election to the Human Rights Council has provided a unique opportunity
The FM said Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is burning.
He accused India of making effort to suppress the voice of Kashmiris through different tactics including communications blackout.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi lamented India was not allowing the independent observers to visit the occupied territory.
Therefore, he considered the Council of Human Rights an effective forum to raise the voice of Kashmiris.
He said Pakistan will continue to provide moral, diplomatic and political support to the oppressed Kashmiri people in their just struggle for right to self-determination.
The Foreign Minister also spoke on other priorities at the UN Human Rights Council.
He said Pakistan would sensitize the world about the threat which Islamophobia poses.
Furthermore, the country would raise the causes of Muslim Ummah.
