Pakistan Army Chief and German Ambassador discuss cooperation of their counties in various fields.

German Ambassador to Pakistan Bernhard Stephan Schlagheck called on Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi today (Thursday).

During the meeting matters of mutual interest and overall regional situation came under discussion.

They specially focused on bilateral cooperation in various fields and Afghan Peace Process.

Moreover, the Army Chief said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Germany.

He also appreciated holding of 5th round of Pak-Germany strategic dialogue in September 2020.

Furthermore, he expressed hope for mutually benefiting bilateral relations.

Meanwhile, the visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region and pledged to further enhance bilateral relations between both countries.
