Minister announces shifting of 1100 Pakistani prisoners from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that Pakistan government would bring 1100 Pakistani prisoners back from Saudi Arabia.

They would continue to face imprisonment in local jails.
In a video message, he gave detail of the repatriation of Pakistani prisoners from Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, he said such prisoners don’t include 22 detainees involved in drugs-related cases.
The list of 1100 also don’t include eight others facing murder charges.
Moreover, the Minister said they have requested Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide Rs 1 billion for paying fines of those hundreds of prisoners.
Saudi Arabia had detained them since 2005 on trivial charges. Their release need Rs 1 billion.
