Foreign Minister of Pakistan visits Turkey amid Israeli airstrikes in occupied Palestine.
According to a statement, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, along with foreign ministers of Sudan, Palestine and Turkey will, then, leave for New York.

Qureshi is making these visits on the special instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
It seems that the government of Pakistan has launched an extensive diplomatic mission to draw global attention towards the fast-deteriorating situation in Palestine.
The Foreign Minister will also address an emergency session of the United Nations General Assembly.
There he will reaffirm Pakistan’s support for the cause of oppressed Palestinians.
During his stay in New York, Foreign Minister Qureshi will hold important meetings with different key figures.
Moreover, he will talk to the international media and present Pakistan’s stance over the situation in Palestine.

Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations Munir Akram made this appeal.
He was addressing the 120-member NAM’s Coordinating Bureau met in New York.
He asked he Non-Aligned Movement to demand an immediate end to Israel’s deadly offensive in Palestine.
Moreover, the NAM meeting discussed the “horrendous” situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.
Munir further said the Non-Aligned Movement must work for the restoration of international legality.
USA blocks UNSC statement
Meanwhile, United States of America blocked UNSC statement condemning Israeli attacks in Gaza for third time.
A third United Nations Security Council emergency meeting in a week – amid the deadly Israeli offensive in Gaza – has again ended with no concrete outcome.
The meeting remained inconclusive because the USA blocked a joint statement.
China also accused USA for blocking the statement calling for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
Meanwhile, the council is working to hold its fourth meeting on Tuesday.
