Amir gets greenlight for Ireland T20Is

Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir has finally received visa for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Ireland.

Though, he won’t be able to participate in the opening match against the Paul Stirling-inspired team tomorrow (Friday) but he is expected to join the squad for remaining T20Is in Dublin.

Earlier, the PCB had also recorded a protest for the delay in the issuance of a visa to Amir.

Separately, the Pakistan team had participated in the training session at the Clontarf Cricket Club ahead of the Ireland series.

The players took part in the training in all the departments under the supervision of head coach Azhar Mahmood.

It was reported that all the players were fit and excited for the series.

Pakistan will take on Ireland in the first of the three-match T20I series on May 10 (tomorrow).
