25 April, 2024 08:44

Pro-Palestine protests in the US universities have deeply disturbed Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

“Whatever is being happened in the US universities is terrible,” the Israeli prime minister said.

He further said that protests at US varsities against Israel’s war in Gaza were horrific. He demanded that these protests should be stopped.

He said that the anti-Semitic crowd was demanding an end of Israel and added the university departments, students and Jewish mobs are being attacked,

These events have brought to mind the events of the German universities in the 1930s, Netanyahu said.

Earlier, 200 days have been completed since the 7 October’s Israeli aggression in the occupied territory of Palestine, Gaza.

According to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, 34, 183 people were martyred and 77, 143 were injured as a result of Israeli aggression in Gaza during 200 days.

Women and children have been the main victims of the Israeli war in Gaza with more than 14,500 children and 9,500 women have been martyred so far.

It is believed that the actual number of martyrs may be much higher as many bodies may still be buried in the rubble of the destroyed buildings.

According to the Arab media, in these 200 days, Israel has rained 75,000 tons of explosives on Gaza, turning most of the civil infrastructure of the Gaza Strip into a pile of rubble.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks have destroyed more than 380,000 residential units and 412 educational institutions in Gaza.

The Israeli army did not spare the hospitals either as the Israeli attacks have rendered 32 hospitals and 53 health centers in Gaza unusable while it also targeted 126 ambulances.

In the Israeli attacks, 556 mosques of Gaza were martyred and three churches were destroyed, while 206 archaeological sites were also hit by the Israeli attacks.

According to the Palestinian Media Office, the damage caused in Gaza as a result of the Israeli war is estimated to be at least $30 billion.
