Presidential protocol and security has been provided to newly elected President Asif Ali Zardari.

According to sources, presidential protocol and security have been provided to Asif Ali Zardari.

Asif Ali Zardari has moved to the President’s House before the swearing-in ceremony.

The important belongings of the newly elected president have also been shifted to the President’s House.

Yesterday, PPP’s Asif Zardari was elected as the 14^th president of the country with a huge majority.

As per results, Asif Zardari got 255 votes in parliament while Mahmood Achakzai bagged 119 votes. In Punjab Assembly, the PPP candidate got 43 electoral votes while SIC candidate secured 18 votes. In Sindh Assembly, the former president received 58 votes while PkMAP’s Achakzai got only 3 votes.

Asif Zardari got 8 votes while Mahmood Achakzai bagged 41 votes in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

The PPP co-chairman got 47 votes in Balochistan Assembly while Achakzai could not get any votes.
