Banker kills man after looting Rs5.7mn in Parachinar

A private bank employee committed the heinous crime of murdering a man after looting reportedly Rs 5.7 million in Parachinar.

The victim’s body was recovered from the sales officer’s residence and the suspect is in police custody.

The incident happened in Speenkhel Banda area of Parachina where the victim, identified as Muhammad Ibrahim, went to the bank to deposit the amount sent by his brother settled abroad.

According to the Police said the suspect brought Ibrahim to his house on the pretext of making a Zakat form.

Upon reaching home, the banker allegedly opened fire at Ibrahim, who died on the spot, police added.

After committing the crime, the suspect deposited looted money in his account.

However, the suspect was arrested by the police, and further investigation of the incident is underway.
