A new face is all set to light up the big screen! Ahaan Panday, the 27-year-old from a well-known Bollywood family, is making his acting debut in Mohit Suri’s upcoming romantic film, Saiyaara. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on July 18, 2025.

The trailer for Saiyaara dropped on Tuesday, and fans were quick to notice Ahaan’s strong screen presence and emotional acting. He stars opposite actress Aneet Padda, another newcomer who’s creating buzz online.

Who Is Ahaan Panday?

Ahaan Panday is the son of Chikki Panday and Deanne Panday. He is also the nephew of actor Chunky Panday and the cousin of Bollywood actress Ananya Panday. Ahaan is part of a popular group of Gen-Z star kids and is often seen with Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, and Orry.

He first got public attention in 2023 during his sister Alanna Panday’s wedding, where a video of him dancing to Shah Rukh Khan’s “I Am The Best” went viral. Even Shah Rukh Khan was seen watching his performance live at the event.

Around the same time, another clip surfaced where Ahaan recreated SRK’s ‘Ek Tarfa Pyaar’ dialogue from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. While some found it charming, others trolled him for being “cringe.”

Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara is a music-filled romantic drama. Ahaan plays the role of a famous singer, and fans are already comparing his look to Aditya Roy Kapur in Aashiqui 2. In fact, Mohit Suri recently revealed that Saiyaara was originally planned as Aashiqui 3.

The director praised both Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda for their passion and hard work. “It’s rare to find fresh actors who fully surrender to a story. I’m lucky to work with these two,” he said.
