Who Is Harry Hall Caddie? Meet Henry Diana – The Man Behind His 2025 Success

12 July, 2025 19:34

British golfer Harry Hall has had a standout 2025 season, and part of that success is thanks to a key figure by his side — his new caddie, Henry Diana. The pair have been working together since midway through the year, and the results speak for themselves.

So, who exactly is Henry Diana, and why has his arrival made such a difference?

Caddie Switch Sparks Hall’s Hot Streak

Harry Hall made headlines in 2024 with a strong showing at the ISCO Championship, but in 2025, he took things up a notch. After changing caddies and teaming up with Henry Diana, his form started trending upward fast.

In their first four events together, Hall finished no worse than T24, a clear sign that the chemistry between player and caddie is working. With consistent results rolling in, Hall is even being talked about as a dark horse Ryder Cup pick this September.

Who Is Henry Diana?

Henry Diana is a veteran in the world of golf caddying. He’s originally from Warren, Ohio, and is now based in St. Simons Island, Georgia — a well-known hub for golfers and caddies alike.

Diana began caddying back in 2002 and has built a long, respected career on the PGA Tour. He’s worked with several pros over the years, including:

  • Stephen Jaeger (helped him win the 2024 Houston Open)

  • Tom Hoge

  • Bill Haas

  • Colt Knost

  • Ben Crane

  • Cameron Beckman

  • Charles Howell III (his longest partnership)

Before the Bag: Diana’s Own Playing Career

Before becoming a caddie, Diana had a playing career of his own. He played on the Nike Tour (now known as the Korn Ferry Tour) from 1993–1996, then returned for a few events in 1998 and 2002. While he never broke through with a big win, his best finish was 53rd and he once placed T66.

Diana played college golf at the University of Alabama, a school famous for producing stars like Justin Thomas and Nick Dunlap.

Why He Loves the Job

In a short interview with The Caddie Network, Diana shared that the best part of being a caddie is “watching the best players in the world on a daily basis.”

He brings a deep knowledge of the game, calm decision-making, and years of experience — all of which are now benefiting Harry Hall.
