Minnesota Twins star Byron Buxton has captured fans’ attention with his electrifying speed and athleticism on the baseball field. Off the diamond, the All-Star center fielder shares his life with his high school sweetheart, Lindsey Buxton.

The couple will celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary in 2025, having tied the knot in 2016. Their love story began in 2012 when a mutual friend introduced them – ironically after they’d both attended Appling County High School in Georgia without previously meeting.

Lindsey recently shared a heartfelt tribute to their marriage on Instagram: “8 years! I love you. I appreciate you. I respect you. I’m forever proud of you. You are my person and I would do it all again babe. You and I will always be my favorite team. Happy Anniversary my love!”

Lindsey Buxton’s Career

While supporting her husband’s MLB career, Lindsey has built her own successful business. She owns Ellianos Coffee Baxley, a popular Georgia-based drive-thru coffee shop serving espresso drinks, smoothies, and breakfast items.

After graduating from Appling County High School in 2012, Lindsey initially pursued nursing at Valdosta State University before shifting focus to entrepreneurship.

Byron and Lindsey are proud parents to three boys:

• Blaze Jett Buxton (born 2020)
• Baire Buxton (born July 2023)

The couple welcomed their first son before marrying, with Brix arriving in 2013 just a year after they began dating. Their family grew with Blaze in 2020 and newest addition Baire last summer.
