Who Is Connor Estelle? ‘Pinesap’ Seeks Funds After Job Loss Over Jubilee Debate Appearance

23 July, 2025 14:35

Connor Estelle, also known by his online alias Pinesap, is at the center of a growing controversy after he claimed he lost his job due to remarks made during a YouTube debate show. Estelle participated in an episode of Jubilee’s “Surrounded” series, which has since gained nearly 4 million views. In the video, he openly described himself as a fascist and stated he “doesn’t care” if he was labeled a Nazi.

His appearance quickly sparked backlash online, as he not only defended autocracy but also made controversial statements about Nazi persecution, downplaying their assault on human dignity by saying they only “persecuted the church a little bit.”

Fundraiser After Fallout

Shortly after the episode aired, Estelle launched a fundraising campaign on GiveSendGo, a Christian crowdfunding platform known for allowing politically and socially divisive campaigns. He called it an “emergency fund” to cover living expenses and help in searching for a new job. Estelle framed the situation as part of “cancellation culture”, claiming he was being punished for expressing legal traditional right-wing views.

Surprisingly, his fundraiser has gained traction. Though his original goal was $15,000, donations have already crossed $20,000. Some of the comments left by donors raised concerns, with one contributor writing, “We need a white nation! It’s our only future! Vive le Fascisme,” referencing the white supremacist code “88.”

Podcast Response

Estelle later spoke on the Rift Report podcast, where he criticized what he described as the current cultural climate that allegedly punishes people for Christian and heterosexual values. He said he was dismissed from his job but did not reveal the name of his employer or his role. He linked his firing to the public’s reaction after the Jubilee video went viral.

“It’s just the culture that kind of exists currently surrounding the manner in which you’re cancelled for voicing […] any heterosexual, Christian, sort of moral belief,” Estelle stated.

A Divisive Figure

Estelle’s comments and the response to them have stirred strong reactions online. While some donors and supporters see him as a victim of overreach in public shaming, many critics argue that his extremist views and associations cross a line beyond simple political differences.
