Who Is Kassidy Hall? Meet the Pueblo Business Owner Running for City Council in 2025
Kassidy Hall, a local business owner from Pueblo, Colorado, is now officially running for Pueblo City Council District 1 in the 2025 municipal election. She filed her nomination with the Pueblo City Clerk’s Office, joining a three-way race with Dianne Danti and Elvis Martinez. This district includes neighborhoods in the northwest part of Pueblo.
Who is Kassidy Hall: A Voice for Business and Community
Hall owns Simple Talk Financial, a small financial services firm. She has 35 years of experience in the finance industry. Although she no longer accepts new clients, she continues helping her existing ones.
Kassidy says her main goal is to help small businesses. She believes many local store owners are struggling to stay open because of rising crime in Pueblo.
“I see business owners fighting crime every day outside their shops,” Hall said in an interview.
She plans to push for stronger public safety by working to bring more businesses to the city. More businesses could mean higher tax revenue, which can be used to hire more police officers.
Safety First, Growth Next
Hall says many families are scared to go out at night. She wants to change that. She believes Pueblo has huge potential to grow because it isn’t “landlocked” like Denver and still has open spaces and vacant buildings.
“This city has space, sunshine, and history. It used to be an entrepreneur’s dream. It can be again,” Hall said.
Hall’s Personal Story
Kassidy lived and worked in Denver for many years. After her husband Bruce Stuckey died from cancer in 2014, she returned to Pueblo. She said they had planned to settle in Pueblo together.
Now, she wants to give back to the city she loves. “I’m in my third act,” she said. “This is my time to do something meaningful.”
Political Background
Though city council races are non-partisan, Hall is currently listed as a supported candidate on the Pueblo County Republican Party website. She will compete against two other hopefuls in District 1. The election is expected to take place later in 2025.
