Who is Kathi Steininger? Austrian reporter with allegations against P Diddy

The legal troubles for Sean “P Diddy” Combs are getting worse. Already facing serious allegations like s*x trafficking and racketeering, a new accusation has come forward — this time from Austria.

Kathi Steininger, an Austrian journalist now in her 40s, says she was assaulted by Diddy more than 20 years ago. She claims the incident happened in March 2000, when she was just 19 years old and working to build her career.

What Happened in 2000

According to Steininger, she met Diddy during his European tour for what was supposed to be a professional on-camera interview. During the event, she says she got separated from her cameraman. She alleges that she was then given a drink she believes was spiked.

She recalls feeling weak and unable to resist, and says she ended up on a tour bus where she was assaulted. “There was 100 percent something in it. I would never have gone to bed with that man,” she told The U.S. Sun.

Years of Silence

Steininger says she didn’t speak out for years because of shame, fear, and the belief that no one would believe her — especially since Diddy was a powerful celebrity and she was a young foreign journalist.

Recently, as more women have come forward with allegations against Diddy, she decided to share her story publicly. She has also spoken to Austrian prosecutors, although legal action may be difficult because of the time that has passed.

Ready to Testify

Steininger says she is willing to testify if there’s an opportunity. She hopes to see Diddy punished for what she says happened. The trauma, she adds, has stayed with her for decades, leading to ongoing emotional struggles.

By speaking publicly and using her real name, she says she hopes to help others come forward and push for change.
