YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson launched his latest charity project, TeamWater, aiming to raise $40 million to provide clean and safe drinking water to communities in need. The campaign has already drawn massive donations from both content creators and big companies.
According to the official TeamWater website, the largest single donation so far comes from CrateRoyaleCR, a Clash Royale clan. They gave an incredible $2,005,000 to the cause, putting them at the top of the site’s “Most Water” list.
MrBeast’s announcement video showed him and other popular creators visiting areas with poor water access, where old infrastructure could not provide safe drinking water. They worked to install filtration systems and water storage units, even testing the water themselves.
The TeamWater site tracks donations based on “years of water supplied.” In this system, one dollar equals one year of clean water for a person.
